<div>I want to tell you about a kind, humble man I know. He was always playing baseball or basketball when he was little. Then, when he was 11 years old, he came down with type 1 diabetes. It was devastating for his family but not for him. Things would happen medically, or he would have a bad day with his diabetes, but he always stayed positive. Even at a young age, he would tell his mom, "It will be ok." I'm his mom.

<div>My son's name is Will. Throughout his life, it was not easy, but he would always get through it every time in a positive manner. He played basketball in high school and college. When he got out of college, he took jobs so he could help people. He always wants to help people; even now, he is a counselor at his job helping people. He has a wife and two children under the age of 5 years old that he adores and loves so much.

<div>He is a below-the-knee amputee and <strong>he needs a kidney transplant</strong>. They recently moved him up the list, and he will be having a transplant soon. He still works and goes to dialysis 3x a week, 4 hours each time. He works late hours making up time that he lost due to all his medical appointments. <strong>I am doing a GoFundMe so it will be a little easier for him financially before and after the transplant.</strong>

<div>After the transplant, he will lose more wages, and he will need to travel to doctor appointments. He will not be able to go back to work until he recovers.
