Hello, I am asking the community to rally behind and support the family of Warren Haynes due to recent tragic events.

On Sunday, October 26th there was an apartment fire at the Woodmist apartments in Colebrook. Warren resided there, and sustained severe injuries. He presented to UCVH emergency department, and was then subsequently transferred to Mass General due to his life threatening injuries and burns.

Heartbreakingly, his injuries were too severe, and it has been decided to stop all life saving measures at this time.

He was a brother, loving son & father, grandfather and friend. He will be incredibly missed by his family. Unfortunately, he did not have life insurance, or a savings. Due to this, his mom, Carol Perkins has to pay for his cremation out of pocket, which was his wish. This does not include hotels, gas, food & other expenses such as missing work for his family members, such as his sister, Gia Gould & her family, and Kerry Haynes & his family. Carol is 82 years old, and still works part time. Now, she has to do the unimaginable, and bury her son.

If you know Carol (aka Gram to many people), Gia, Kerry & their families you’d know they never ask for anything from anyone. Gia is self employed and has had to take multiple days off and Kerry has continued to work and has been unable to visit his brother in the hospital.

Genna, Warren’s niece is my best friend - and I am a close family friend of Gia (Warrens sister) and Carol (Warrens mother). All donations will go directly to Carol for funeral, cremation, travel, and medical expenses.

Anything helps relieve the financial toll this has taken on them, which was added to the emotional turmoil they are going through. Please, if you cannot donate, share this post, and pray for Warren’s family at this time. Thank you.
