<div>My name is Walter “Wally” Zacek, and I’ve proudly served in various emergency service agencies for over a decade.
</div>

</div>
<div>I’ve always believed in showing up for others—whether it’s responding to a call, lending a hand, or simply offering a smile when things get tough.
</div>

</div>
<div>Today, I find myself in a position I never imagined—asking for help.
</div>

</div>
<div>Over the past eight years, I’ve experienced heartbreaking losses. We've lost our father, our grandfather, our step-father, then our cousin. And now, on August 8th, my brother Matt awoke to find our mother unresponsive. She was our last remaining parent, and we are now laying her to rest.
</div>

</div>
<div>Our mother Laura leaves behind her sons Walter, 29, and Matthew, 25. As well as her brother Joseph, sister-in-law Lisa, her nephew Joseph, and niece-in-law Amy.
</div>

<div>This has been an incredibly difficult time, and while I’ve always tried to be strong for others, I’m realizing that sometimes, even the helpers need help.
</div>

</div>
<div>I’m reaching out to ask for your support as I navigate this painful chapter and work to cover the funeral and legal expenses. Any contribution, no matter the size, would mean the world to us. It’s not just about financial help—it’s about knowing we're not alone, that the community I’ve served stands with me now.
