<div>With a heavy heart, I share this devastating update.

<div>On Saturday, July 19th just after leaving a powerful women’s conference I received the call no one ever wants to get.
</div>

</div>
<div>My brother, Leyson, accidentally shot himself while cleaning his firearm.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This was not an act of carelessness. It was a tragic accident that has now opened the door to a very long and painful journey a journey filled with surgeries, recovery, and uncertainty. But through it all, I believe: ABBA is still God, and He will show up.
</div>

</div>
<div>I’m asking from the depths of my heart please don’t judge.
</div>
<div>Please don’t speculate.
</div>
<div>Just be the Church.
</div>
<div>We don’t need criticism. We need compassion. We need intercession. We need love in action.
</div>

</div>
<div>Leyson’s wife, Mabel, is now left to care for their five children ages 18, 13, 12, 9, and 8 while navigating this crisis. Their 18 year old is doing what she can, working to help cover car insurance and bills, but it’s more than one family can bear alone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To make matters worse, the apartment complex is now requiring them to vacate, claiming this tragedy violated their lease. So not only are they enduring a medical emergency but they are now facing housing insecurity.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And yet…
</div>
<div>I still believe in miracles.
</div>
<div>I still believe God turns pain into purpose.
</div>
<div>And I know that this testimony is not over Leyson’s life will speak of God’s glory.
</div>

</div>
<div>But we need help.
</div>

<div>If you can’t, we ask you to pray, to intercede, and to stand in the gap for this family.
