<div>What began as a serious plumbing issue quickly became a nightmare when the City of Akron failed to address the problem—despite reports, emails, follow-ups, and many pleas for help.

<div>The Smith Family did everything they were supposed to do, trusting that the city would take responsibility. Instead, they were disregarded and left to deal with worsening conditions on their own.

<div>After two years of stress, disruption, and damage to their home, the family was told they were responsible for $30,000 in repairs—a cost they can't afford and should never be forced to carry.
