<div>As recently announced, we are teaming up with Next Generation Rail Solutions for a full restoration of #35's running gear, as well as reassembly and cosmetic restoration of the rest of the locomotive. We are excited to report that this work will be commencing in the coming weeks.

<div>While the restoration itself is being funded by the Town of Oyster Bay and Nassau County, with a smaller portion by OBRM, there are a number of aspects of this project such as trucking and crane rigging which will NOT be covered by the municipal funds. These projected expenses include:

<div>$9,000 for the Museum's remaining funding contribution
</div>
<div>$6,000 for initial trucking expenses
</div>
<div>$10,000 for cranes and rigging
</div>

<div>HERE'S HOW YOU CAN HELP! We are asking all our friends and supporters to donate $35, or any other amount, to help ease the museum's burden on these non-covered expenses, including our remaining matching obligation under our municipal grant.
