<div>This has been one of the toughest years of my life. In February of 2025, I lost my mother, way before it was her time to go. On the last day of July, 2025, I also lost my father. The loss was similar in that it was way too soon and just as hard, if not harder. This loss leaves behind my half-brother from my father's first marriage, as well as myself and my younger sister.

<div>Neither of my parents had made any arrangements, plans or savings for when this inevitable time came. As a result, I've been fronting all of the expenses, with some help from my Aunt Kay, for making sure both of my parents were taken care of. My father was a proud Army veteran and I'm working to recover his discharge paperwork so that I can work with the VA to make sure he receives a proper burial at the DFW National Cemetery. However, any kind of memorial service or other funeral costs will have to be paid for out-of-pocket.

<div>I truthfully don't know what else I can do. I only have so many financial resources in reach so one of the best things I can do is request that anyone who has the ability to help, do so here.
