<div>Last year I hiked 1,067 miles (1,717 kms) of the Appalachian trail. It was an incredible experience, and a daily test of my endurance, stamina, and conviction! My goal was to hike the entire trail of 2,197 miles (3,536 kms) from Georgia to Maine in 5 months. I was almost halfway when I got the news about my dad's stage 4 cancer diagnosis. I traveled home the next day, and got to spend six weeks with him before he passed.

<div>I'm now back on the trail to finish what I started and pick up where I left off. This leaves me with another 1,130 miles (1,819 kms) of the trail.

<div>My dad was always my biggest supporter on my adventures. He was excited for me, at times a little worried, and loved living vicariously through my adventures and daily updates!

<div>In memory of my dad, and in honor of all the wonderful people in your life, I'd like your help in supporting the Canadian Cancer Society.

<div>On behalf of myself and my friends and family, thank you for your generosity and kindness.
