On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, <strong>Hurricane Melissa ravaged through my community of Water Works in Jamaica.</strong> I was unable to communicate with my family for days. They are without electricity, and that has affected the water supply and telecommunications. The infrastructure is drastically impacted throughout the community. Homes are physically damaged, and although temporary measures have been taken to secure the structures, <strong>rehabilitation will be necessary urgently.</strong>
