<div>As you may know, I went on a similar brigade to Belize last December, where my team set up clinics and worked alongside doctors, dentists, and pharmacists to provide care in underserved communities. It was a life-changing experience, and it really confirmed that healthcare is my calling.

<div>Going to Africa on a mission has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. In Ghana, we’ll be providing basic healthcare, medications, and health education to rural communities that have limited access to care. In Ghana, there is roughly 1 physician per 10,000 people, and 83% of the rural population has no access to safely managed sanitation facilities.
