<div>My mom, Silvia, is one of the strongest people I know. In 2021, her life changed overnight when a sudden and still unknown spinal infliction left her paralyzed from the waist down and in her face as well. Since then, she has fought every day to regain independence and mobility.

<div>She has received a really incredible new wheelchair that grant her more mobility and freedom! She longs for more freedom however, with a car with a ramp that she can drive with her hands!! She has gone to driving lessons and has done a very great job- so much so, that she is approved to get a car with the necessary conversions!!

<div>I wish with all my heart that I could buy this car for her- however that is not the situation I currently find myself in. That is where this go fund me comes in!! With your help- we could at least help with the cost!! A wheelchair-accessible car with hand controls and the necessary modifications costs around $59,866.36. Our goal is to raise as much of this amount as possible to help cover these expenses!
