<div>Hi, my name is Sam (Wyatt) Wilkinson. I’m 29, and this past week my life turned upside down. Out of nowhere, I got severely sick and ended up hospitalized, where I was diagnosed with autoimmune hemolytic anemia — a rare and dangerous condition where my own immune system attacks my red blood cells.

<div>I’ve been hospitalized, gone through a couple of blood transfusions, and started strong treatments (including steroids and immune therapy) to stabilize my body. Thankfully, I’m showing signs of recovery, but I have a long road ahead — both medically and financially.

<div>Because of this illness, I’ll be facing major hospital bills, ongoing treatments, and extended time away from work. As a dad and someone who’s usually very active in my job and community, it’s overwhelming to suddenly need help — but I know I can’t do this alone.
