<div>My name is Evelyn, and this GoFundMe is for my friend Zack’s apartment. Zack has been struggling with a multitude of factors. They have been denied the proper medication for their bipolar disorder, have been hospitalized, and were laid off from their job because they sought treatment.

<div>This GoFundMe is for more than just Zack and their home. In the past two years Zack has cultivated their apartment into a safe, community oriented space for neurodivergent LGBTQ+ youth and many friend groups who gather in the apartment. If they lose this space, that’s one less place where these vulnerable young people can be themselves.
</div>
<div>This community-oriented space has created hope for the neurodivergent, LGBTQ+ youth who regularly gather at the apartment in downtown Roanoke. Without this apartment, these at-risk youth will not have a safe place to gather or even stay for days at a time when circumstances force them out of their homes. Additionally, this space is home to a pivotal member of the community, who provides unfaltering support to youth seeking refuge.
