<div><strong>Rudy Untarya’s friends from Bob Sands Fishing Tackle shop and his South Bay cycling friends would like to raise money to cover his medical expenses.</strong> Rudy went to the ER in April 2023 as his heart was beating irregularly and he was having trouble breathing. There were complications as he had a leaky valve in his heart and was fighting multiple infections. Since Rudy was intubated for so long, with no walking or talking, he has a very long recovery to gain his strength and health back. Rudy’s been at the Berkley Acute Rehabilitation for over a year. He recently went into cardiac arrest and is now at Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys.
