<div>On January 19, 2026, Rob Gustaveson was tragically hit by a car while walking home in Milford, Connecticut. Rob suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to Bridgeport Hospital for emergency care.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Rob has endured severe trauma from head to toe, including:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>• Multiple broken bones (head, arm, leg, wrist, ribs)
</div>
<div>• Punctured lung
</div>
<div>• Cracked spine in multiple places
</div>
<div>• Lacerated spleen
</div>
<div>• Heavy bleeding requiring blood transfusion
</div>
<div>• Neck brace in place to protect spinal injury
</div>
<div>• Unable to walk, move independently, or (at times) breathe on his own
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He remains in critical condition and is currently in intensive care. His doctors indicate that his recovery will be long and uncertain, including soon moving to in-patient rehabilitation for multiple weeks, followed by out-patient therapy, and possibly up to 3+ months before he can even consider returning to work.
</div>
<div>Rob’s family and loved ones are overwhelmed — both emotionally and financially — as they navigate this enormous challenge.
