<div>I'm reaching out on behalf of my dear friend Resha Burton, who has been fighting an incredibly courageous battle with cancer. Many of you know Resha as a lupus warrior — she has battled lupus with strength and grace for over 30 years. Now, she’s facing an entirely new and even greater fight.

<div>Recently, Resha underwent major surgery where doctors had to remove 80% of her tongue in order to save her life. She also had extensive reconstructive surgery to help her regain basic functions like speaking, eating, and breathing — everyday things most of us often take for granted.

<div>Through it all, Resha’s spirit remains unbreakable. However, the road ahead is long and challenging — physically, emotionally, and financially. On top of mounting medical expenses and therapy needs, Resha’s critical illness insurance claim was unfortunately denied, leaving her without vital financial support during her greatest time of need.

<div>We are coming together to lift some of this burden so Resha can focus fully on her healing. Donations will go directly toward her medical bills, therapy treatments (such as speech and physical therapy), living expenses, and ongoing care needs.
