<div>In April, I was assaulted in Boston by a group of high school boys. Since the incident, I’ve had significant amounts of medical bills, travel expenses, and stress trying to juggle recovering and transferring colleges as I could not go back to Boston after this.

<div>Due to the assault, I needed surgery to remove a cyst that formed on my tailbone. I just found out I need the surgery for a second time immediately, due to failure of the first surgery.

<div>Recovering from the first surgery took away my whole summer, and was months of continuous pain. Now I will miss weeks-months of classes which is a massive setback.

<div>With no immediate justice in sight for these criminals that battered me, I now face the struggle of not being able to physically live a healthy life and am burdened with the bills.

<div>As a college student and aspiring lawyer, these set backs are more than just a financial burden, it’s been extremely life changing and has crushed me in ways I could never imagine.

<div>I am not the type of person to ever ask others for anything, but I am struggling to live with the burden of these insane expenses and it’s not fair to my family to have to contribute.
