<div>Pinnacle Peak &amp; Southern Railroad is a 501 (C) 3 all volunteer organization in Adobe Mountain Desert Park, giving children and adults free train rides on a 15" gauge track. The focus is to bring joy, wonder, and the timeless experience of railroad history to our community. Children and adults are able to ride behind a small engine, in trolleys and gondolas. There is also a train museum at this site to expose all who attend, to view railroad memorabilia. Donations will provide the ability to maintain, repair, improve and expand our railroad facilities.

<div>While the current locomotive is a 15" gauge gasoline powered engine, PP&amp;SRR is also fundraising, not only for the track expansion, but also for the restoration of a Ben Hammer 4-4-0 "American" steam locomotive. The name "American" comes from the wheel arrangement of the locomotive.

<div>We are currently expanding our 1/4 mile of operational trackage to a loop of almost a mile. This expansion is being done during our "off" season. We normally run between October and April, every Sunday between 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
