<div>Please note that the way charities work for the Tokyo Marathon is that I have to pay the charity amount in full (which I have already done) and then seek reimbursement, which is why I am doing this via GoFundMe. It is different than how other marathons (e.g. Chicago, Boston) do it, where there is a charity page where I pledge an amount and then ask for funds for the charity, that then go directly to the charity. Rest assured that your donation are going to the charity, but just through a different process.
