<div>Hi, I'm Sarah, and I wanted to direct a movie (I have for a while), and rather than waiting around for someone to give me permission, I’m making it happen. So, with borrowed equipment, an original script, and a cast stuffed with upcoming stars from Chicago's comedy scene, we're making our very own (Mid)Western!

<div>We officially wrapped principal photography, so now we're moving on to post-production! In the coming months we'll be editing our short film, recording and composing soundtrack, and figuring out how to release it into the world.

<div>Our little short film is a love letter to this city. It's a love letter to the history of film itself. As a genre, Westerns are part of our country’s film tradition, and also part of its violent myth-making tradition. We're poking fun at Westerns while playing dress up with its aesthetic ideals. This is not just a love letter to Segio Leone and Clint Eastwood, but to John Waters and David Lynch and the Coen brothers.
