<div>In February 2026, Nicolas expressed feelings of loneliness and sadness being away from his parents. He considered moving back to his hometown to be closer to them, but they encouraged him to stay and focus on saving money to build a house in his hometown. After his mother’s passing, however, Nicolas had to leave his job at the tomato factory because he couldn’t work due to the grief and heartbreak. As heavy expenses arrived for the funeral, rent and food Nicolas shortly returned to picking strawberries as a fieldworker.
