<div>While I am very fortunate to be employed and have health insurance, I am still very much paycheck to paycheck and am having a hard time putting money aside for the surgery because of rent, bills, student loan payments, and cost of living in general since I live in my own.

<div>Surgery costs include: the medical bill itself (likely my full deductible if not more), supplies for the healing process, time off from work, and likely some transportation-related costs to and from appointments until I can drive myself. This also comes at a time where I am trying to get other health issues diagnosed which requires a multitude of specialist appointments which means copays on copays on copays.
