<div>My cousin Missy and children Ava and Jack recently lost their beloved husband &amp; father, Rich, to cancer after a brave battle. His passing leaves them with an understandably large void, along with the many family and friends who loved Rich dearly.

<div>Rich served our country in the army before serving the City of Dayton Police Dept for over 30 years as a detective specializing in hostage negotiation and human trafficking. He was of the best of us.

<div>Rich's loss also leaves his family with financial need in outstanding medical bills and day-to-day expenses that are now Missy's sole responsibility to provide for the family while they continue into this new chapter without Rich. The road ahead is a long one, but it is through the love and support of family and friends that will help them along their journey.
