<div>Millie is 10 months old and she has a very rare cleft where she is missing her entire soft palate. It’s not often babies have a bilateral cleft without a cleft lip, and she has been on a feeding tube since birth. In her short life, she has already made several trips to Birmingham and has overcome more than doctors once thought possible through the grace of God.

<div>In February, Millie will undergo an important surgery to reconstruct her palate with the possibility of more procedures due to the uncertainty with the rareness of her cleft, and she has Tracheomalacia. <strong>Her family is projected to stay in Birmingham for 4-8 weeks during her surgery and recovery.</strong> With travel, food, medical expenses, and both parents taking time off work, the financial burden can add up quickly.
