<div>Due to some shenanigans—loans that needed to be taken out to maintain, divorces, job problems, and all sorts of other things, <strong>Middleground is behind on taxes for a year to the tune of $2500</strong>, and tax season has come around again, asking for another $2500.

<div>Adding to that, there's a trench that needs to be dug so the tavern doesn't get moldy. There's rubber sheeting right now as a temporary fix, but we would like to do better. Pest control also costs money, and so we've gotten a little mousy of late, and the lawn mower needs to be maintained as well.

<div>All of these things are a lot, but they are a lot that you, our community, could help us fix. They aren't an unclimbable wall, or an ephemeral 'the state is taking its time.' These are here and now fixes—ways to make life easier going forward and keep our communal LARP site going.
