<div>In addition, I believe that the research I have proposed to carry out is more important and timely than ever. In my studies I'll be doing intensive research on the impacts of technologies like artificial intelligence on labor (available jobs &amp; working conditions), in addition to their unethical uses for surveillance and militarism. We are living in a time where Big Tech companies have enormous power and little regulation which has dire effects on our livelihoods and privacy. My goal is to shine light on these issues and conduct research on the mechanisms and movements that seek to hold tech companies accountable.
