<div>My name is Lorena, and today I’m reaching out with a humble and urgent request for support on behalf of someone very dear to me—<strong>my mother, Maria Medina</strong>.

<div>Maria has recently been diagnosed with Stage 3 sarcoma cancer, one of the most aggressive and fast-moving tumor cancer. After consulting with multiple specialists, we’ve been directed to Stanford Medical Center located in Palo Alto, CA, where a specialized team has created a treatment plan that gives us hope. However, the road ahead will be incredibly difficult—not only emotionally and physically, but also financially.

<div>Maria will need to stay near Stanford for 6 to 10 weeks to receive the full course of treatment. Unfortunately, not all costs are covered by insurance. We are responsible for temporary housing, travel, meals, and various out-of-pocket medical expenses, many of which are still unknown as we await further treatment details.
