++ English below ++ Worum geht es? Tuk Tuk Fahrer, die vergeblich auf Kundschaft warten auf Grund des weggefallenen Tourismus. Imbiss-Besitzer, die durch den Lockdown keine Gäste mehr bedienen und von heute auf morgen ihr Einkommen verlieren. So ergeht es derzeit Tausenden auf der Insel Sulawesi in Indonesien.   Durch fehlende Rücklagen und einem nicht vorhandenen sozialen Auffangnetz fehlt es Tausenden am Nötigsten: der Nahrung. Hier setzen wir an, um in dieser schwierigen Zeit schnelle Hilfe zu leisten. Besonders hilfsbedürftige Menschen und Familien erhalten von uns ein Lebensmittelpaket aus: ·         Reis ·         Nudeln ·         Öl und/oder Zucker   Wer verbirgt sich hinter dieser Spendenaktion? Seit nun mehr 7 Jahren reise ich, Corinna, fast jährlich in mein Herzensland Indonesien und habe dort mittlerweile sehr enge lokale Freundeskreise. In dieser schwierigen, aktuellen Situation haben wir gemeinsam überlegt, wie wir den Menschen, Freunden und Nachbarn vor Ort, die am stärksten von den COVID-19 Auswirkungen betroffen sind, unterstützen können. In mittlerweile 3 Regionen in Nord-Sulawesi beliefern wir die ärmsten in den umliegenden Dörfern im Umkreis der Städte Manado und Gorontalo, sowie die Inselgruppe der Togean Islands. Bereits 6 Dörfer konnten wir bisher mit Lebensmittelpaketen beliefern und den dringendsten Hunger stillen. Doch der Bedarf ist groß und bislang ist noch kein Ausblick für eine verbesserte Situation in Sicht. Diese Entscheidung ist natürlich sehr individuell, jeder Euro zählt. Als Richtwert: Bereits ein Reissack von 50 Kilo kann eine Familie für einen Monat sättigen und kostet 35€. Unser Spendenziel von 10.000 € dient als Richtwert um möglichst viele Dörfer und arme Menschen zu beliefern. Wir werden solange verteilen wie wir Spenden eingesammelt bekommen. Wie funktioniert der Ablauf? Transparenz und Vertrauen stehen für uns an oberster Stelle. Deine Spende landet genau dort, wo sie hingehört – direkt bei einer oder mehreren hilfsbedürftigen Familien in kürzester Zeit. Tuk Tuk drivers without customers because tourism broke down. Restaurant owners with empty tables because of the lockdown. Just a few examples for all those thousands of people in Sulawesi who lost their income one day to the other in this current COVID-19 situation. Without savings and a social system like in western countries, they are faced with the most fundamental survival issues: food for themselves and their families. To help in those times, we started to deliver food packages to the poorest peoples and families. They receive: ·         Rice ·         Noddles ·         Oil and/or sugar What is the background of this fundtraising? Since 7 years I`m traveling almost every year to Indonesia, a country that is very close to my heart. Over the time I´ve made very close local friends. Together we thought about how to help families, friends and neighbours suffering the most under the current conditions. With these friends and helpers, we are delivering in 3 regions in North Sulawesi poor families and villages around the cities of Manado, Gorontalo and the island group of the Togeans. By now, we were already able to deliver 6 villages with food packages to feed the ones that suffer the most. But there is still a big need since it`s still not sure when the situation will become better. That`s why further food deliveries are very urgent. How much should I donate? Of course, this is very individual. Every Euro makes a difference. To calculate: A ricebag of 50 KG can feed a family of 4 for one month and costs 35€. With our goal of 10.000 € we can deliver many more villages and poor people in need.  We keep delivering as long as we are receiving donations.    What is happening with the donation? Transparency and trust is most important to us. Your donation reaches directly where it`s needed: the homes of the families. Our friends and helpers work on voluntary basis (only costs for the gas during the delivery).
