<div><strong>This holiday season I will be giving each child in my volunteer Pre-K classroom a book of their own to take home.</strong> The book giveaway will be on Wednesday, December 17th.

<div><strong>Choosing this year’s book was easy… it is “Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes.”</strong> I chose this book because all the kids love it and want to read it every week. Plus, I figure if I give it to them, then I won’t have to read it anymore this year! I will simply tell the children, “Let’s pick a book that you don’t have at home.” I write this with a chuckle and much fondness for “Pete.” It truly is a wonderful book!
