Dear Neighbors,

We are reaching out to invite your support as we work together to address the high water bills affecting the Abington Neighborhood and surrounding communities. Many of you are already aware of the ongoing situation, and we believe it’s important for our broader community to come together and contribute to the legal efforts underway. The Carolina Trace HOA, located in Sanford, NC, has already retained a lawyer to represent our interests, and we want to contribute to the legal fees and support the ongoing legal action.

The funds raised through this campaign will be kept in reserve in case additional legal services are required as the situation develops. If these funds are not needed for further legal work, they will be given to Carolina Trace to help offset their initial legal costs for heading up the legal action on behalf of all affected neighborhoods. By joining forces with others across North Carolina, we hope to ensure that our voices are heard and that we are part of a meaningful, statewide solution.

Your support will help us stand together as a community and contribute to a fair solution. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference and brings us closer to our goal. Please also help us spread the word by sharing this GoFundMe with other residents of the Abington and surrounding areas as we want to make sure that those that are not on social media, etc. are able to participate and contribute. We are grateful for the generosity and solidarity of our neighbors during this time. Thank you for standing with us and supporting our efforts to make a positive change for Abington, our neighboring communities, and everyone throughout North Carolina facing the same challenges with Carolina Water Service of NC.
