<div>Laura has been diagnosed with Systemic Scleroderma. She has relocated to Ohio recently to seek treatment for this debilitating disease at Ohio State University.

<div>As she navigates a health crisis involving difficulty with swallowing, breathing, and generalized extreme muscle weakness, she is raising a very active, almost 3-year-old daughter. <strong>Sylvie is the light of her life, which makes it heartbreaking to be unable to play or even pick her up to cuddle.</strong>

<div>We are praying that treatment offered at OSU will improve her quality of life and allow her to resume activities with Sylvie.
