This past year, <strong>I have escaped an abusive marriage and worked to provide a healthier and happier life for my daughter and myself.</strong> Just when I thought things were getting better, I've now had the rug pulled out from under me. My health has taken a nosedive, and I'm now staring down the barrel of expensive treatments and tests to address a litany of issues as wellas a uterine cancer diagnosis.

<div>In the coming weeks, I have to have several scans, blood infusions, and a total hysterectomy to hopefully right this ship and get me back in fighting shape.

<div>I've been diagnosed with Lynch Syndrome, so in addition to dealing with the uterine cancer I'll be getting a colonoscopy to check if colorectal cancer is something else to deal with. 
</div>
<div>I'm having a biopsy done of the mass in my uterus next week to better plan my course of treatment post hysterectomy.

<div>I'm already looking at around <strong>$5,000 of medical expenses just to get things started.</strong>
