<div>Hey everyone, this a fundraiser for my friend Kevin. Kevin and I were co-leaders during Regis' annual "Quest in Kibera" service trip last year and we have stayed close friends since. Kevin is going to school to be a doctor and needs a few thousand dollars to make ends meet on the room and board side of things. He is genuinely one of the smartest and most hardest working people I know and it would be a shame if he couldn't achieve his dream because he didn't have enough money. But enough from me, here's a message from Kevin about his story:

<div>"My name is Kevin Neondo, and I grew up in a family of five with my mother as our sole provider. Despite many struggles, she always emphasized the value of education and worked tirelessly to keep us in school.

<div>My dream of becoming a doctor began when I was young, watching my mother work for a doctor and playing with his stethoscope. That dream became a mission the day my mother fell seriously ill. With no transport, we rushed her to the hospital in a wheelbarrow. The lack of compassion she received from the doctors left a lasting mark on me—I vowed to become a doctor who truly cares for his patients.

<div>With the support of a well-wisher, I attended St. Aloysius Gonzaga Secondary School, where I excelled in my studies and served as ICT prefect. I recently completed high school with strong results that earned me admission to Uzima University to study Medicine and Surgery.

<div>Now, although I received a scholarship which covers my tuition, <strong>I still face the challenge of raising funds for room, board, and living expenses.</strong> My ultimate goal is to serve communities like mine by providing accessible, compassionate healthcare and, one day, establishing a clinic and school in Kibera, and<strong> I would greatly appreciate any help to get there.</strong>
