<div>Call me Kai!

</div>

<div>I am a non-binary citizen of the US gathering money to afford a VISA that will let me go overseas on a field study trip to Japan!

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I struggle to put myself out there, so any help is greatly appreciated.

</div>

</div>

<div>Growing up, I remember being more alone than not. I must thank the media I consumed back then for raising me better than my parents could on their own. Animation gave me a dream, and good writing told me the truths that can be found in real life. I want to give back by sharing my own story, and how I believe we can improve upon the world by doing small things in our daily lives.

</div>

<div>Even doing that would not satisfy my desire to help our planet, which is why I'm studying as an Ecological Restoration Major.

</div>

<div>My school is partnering with Wildlands Studies, which is a group which has been providing international environmental field courses for undergraduate students focused on wildlife, bottony and ecological sciences. When I heard they would be opening positions for a Japan study, I sent in my application within the same hour. I was approved after the first phone interview and have since been struggling to find ways to fund this adventure.

<div>I need....
