<div>My name is Kacey (sometimes Afrodite) and I am an artist and entertainer living in Brooklyn, NY. <strong>I am also a trans woman who is fortunate enough to be undergoing some gender-affirming procedures this summer</strong> in order to harmonize my inner self with my physical body and be able to move freely through the world without the heavy burden of dysphoria weighing me down.

<div>I'm navigating this part of my transition amidst a very scary, uncertain, and generally difficult time for trans folks. I am extremely lucky to have many of my medical expenses covered by insurance, and am equally lucky to have a community of people by my side on this journey. As insurance only goes so far, <strong>I am humbly looking to raise funds to cover expenses related to my FFS (facial feminization surgery), electrolysis, laser hair removal, and maintaining housing/bills/basic necessities while I take the necessary time off of work to recover. </strong>
