<div>His injuries were severe and life-threatening. I will forever be grateful for the efforts of those amazing teams of first responders, nurses, and doctors who saved our friend's life.

<div>His injuries required the amputation of his right arm at the shoulder, a multitude of surgeries, spinal cord injuries, and has left him paralyzed from the waist down.

<div>Josh’s independent and stubborn spirit has enabled him to recover at a remarkable pace. His positivity about the future in spite of the changes in his way of life should be an inspiration to us all.
