<div>I went through 6 months of chemo to stop the cancer before surgery, then went to UIC in <strong>Chicago</strong> to remove a tumor. We were told when they removed my tumor I would be cancer-free; unfortunately, that wasn't the case.

<div>They found more in my lymph nodes (PDL1 positive).

<div>We were offered to be part of an Opdivo research trial, and they would pay for my treatment.

<div>At the last moment, they stopped accepting new cases into the trial.

<div><strong>That leaves us to pay for it or not continue treatment.</strong>

<div>That really isn't an option, so we have been struggling to keep up with all the bills.
