<div>In 2021, our beloved coworker and friend, Jessica Tewell, underwent brain surgery to remove a meningioma tumor, believed to be caused by long-term use of Depo-Provera. With her trademark courage and strength, she made it through that life-altering experience and began the long process of recovery.

<div>Now, Jessica is facing an even more difficult road. Recent scans have shown that the tumor has regrown, and this time, her treatment will require two separate brain surgeries:

<div>The first surgery will reduce pressure and swelling in her brain,

<div>And the second surgery will fully remove the tumor.

<div>This is not only an incredibly difficult medical journey, but a financially overwhelming one. The costs from her first surgery were substantial, and with two more procedures ahead — along with extended recovery time and time off work — the financial burden is growing quickly.
