<div>Last year, James dedicated himself entirely to helping his mother recover from a severe stroke that left her paralyzed and unable to speak or walk. After ten months of unwavering support and care, during which her health significantly improved, James discovered a large and sudden lump on his leg.

<div>He immediately sought medical attention and, after weeks of tests, received the devastating diagnosis of cancer requiring immediate radiation and surgery.

<div>James underwent daily radiation treatment for over two months, enduring significant weight and energy loss. Throughout this difficult time, he was immensely grateful for the support and prayers of his family and close friends.

<div>Radiation was just the beginning of his battle. To prepare for surgery to remove the cancer, he needed to regain his strength. The surgery was completed, leaving him with unexpected pain and difficulty walking. Little did he know how much more challenging things would become as he faced the prospect of rehabilitation while still needing to ensure the cancer was completely eradicated.

<div>Just when James thought he had weathered the worst, his world was shattered by a knock at the door. He was informed of an outstanding arrest warrant from six years prior. A man of peace, James cooperated fully with the authorities, trusting that he could resolve this matter and continue his fight for his life.

<div>He was assured that he would receive proper medical care while working towards his release. Sadly, this has not been the case. James was not taken to a hospital and did not receive the necessary post-operative medication. For the first four days, he suffered immense pain until family members and advocates intervened by contacting the facility.

<div>As his family and close friends, we firmly believe that James will be cleared of the alleged offense. However, given his critical medical condition, we are deeply concerned that his health is in jeopardy while he remains in their care.

<div>His medical providers share our concern and agree that James needs to be released to receive consistent and proper treatment to recover and live.

<div>We have raised some funds, but need the remaining to secure the attorney to give James the best possible chance to resolve both his health and legal challenges. The financial support we are requesting will be used to retain legal counsel and to file the necessary motions to secure his release so he can resume his vital medical treatment.
