<div>Help Us Rebuild After a Fire
</div>
<div>In the early morning hours, a fire caused significant damage to a space central to the work and leadership of Hitha Healing House. The incident resulted in the loss of essential materials, healing spaces, and the environment that supports ongoing care for mothers, families, and the community.
</div>
<div>The fire occurred at approximately 4:50 AM. We are grateful that no one was physically harmed. While safety was preserved, the impact on our capacity to operate and serve has been substantial.
</div>
<div>Hitha Healing House has existed as a sanctuary rooted in cultural care, community connection, and generational healing. The affected space has been foundational to holding this work. This moment marks a disruption, but not an ending.
</div>
<div>Why Support Is Needed
</div>
<div>The damage caused by the fire has created immediate and ongoing needs. Community support will help address:
</div>
<div>Restoration and rebuilding of the damaged space
</div>
<div>Replacement of wellness supplies, furnishings, and essential equipment
</div>
<div>Establishment of temporary and mobile healing spaces
</div>
<div>Continuation of programming so families experience minimal interruption
</div>
<div>Improvements to safety and infrastructure as rebuilding occurs
</div>
<div>Each contribution supports the ability to continue serving with stability and care.
</div>
<div>Our Commitment to the Community
</div>
<div>Although the physical space is currently unavailable, Hitha Healing House remains active and present.
</div>
<div>We will continue to serve through virtual healing circles and support spaces, mobile programming across Detroit, partner hosted sessions during the rebuilding process, and continued care navigation and crisis support.
</div>
<div>Our work continues. Our relationships remain. Our commitment stands.
</div>
<div>A Message From Leadership
</div>
<div>“Hitha Healing House is built on community, culture, and care. While this fire has affected our physical space, our purpose remains unchanged. With time, support, and collective effort, we will restore what is needed to continue serving.”
</div>
<div>How to Support
</div>
<div>Contribute what you are able, all support is meaningful
</div>
<div>Share this message within your networks and communities
</div>
<div>Offer encouragement, prayers, or supportive messages
</div>
<div>Partner with us by providing temporary space or material resources
</div>
<div>Rebuilding is about restoring a place where healing, belonging, and collective care can continue.
</div>
<div>Thank you for your support, presence, and belief in this work and the families it serves.
</div>
