<div>In the early hours of Thursday morning, we had a break-in at our new cafe. The thieves caused extensive damage to equipment, and theft totaling approximately $10,000. During the break-in, all cameras and security equipment were destroyed. They stole some of the most essential pieces of our business, including our espresso grinder, sales system, food inventory, and approximately $2,000 worth of bike parts from our bike shop.

<div>As a new small business, losses of this size are incredibly difficult to recover from. Every piece of equipment we lost is critical to serving our customers and keeping our doors open.

<div>Despite this setback, we are determined to keep going. This location has been a gathering place for our community for many years prior to changing ownership and we aren’t willing to give that up!

<div>We are asking for help to replace stolen equipment, repair the damage, restore security systems, and get back to business as usual.
