My eagle project is building a series of four floating platforms for the ponds at <a href="https://www.auroragov.org/things_to_do/parks__open_space___trails/nature___open_space/nature_centers/morrison_nature_center" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Morrision Nature Center</a> in Aurora, Colorado.

<div>These platforms will provide a place for turtles in the pond to bask, as there are not enough places. Currently the turtles to use any floating objects they can find, including car tires, but there are not enough spaces for the turtles. These platforms will provide a safer space and allow potentially dangerous debris to be removed from the pond. With basking platforms, the turtles will be happier, healthier, and easier to watch for visitors!
