<div><strong>It started with my Birthday Fitness Challenge!</strong> A month in advance of my 63rd birthday I decided to try to turn my hours on social media into something beneficial. I needed to get into shape, so used that as an excuse to to raise money for the <em>Greater Chicago Food Depository</em> (Chicago's main food bank.)

<div>I asked my social media friends to consider my two challenges:
</div>
<div>Option 1: Pledge X $ per Push-up I do over a minimum of 25, without stopping except for a brief rest in the up position. OR
</div>
<div>Option 2: Join me in competition! You name the $ per push up and whoever loses pays that times the difference between us (if you win I pay to your charity). I accepted ALL challenges, regardless of age.
