We are raising funds for a school trip to the Azores (Portugal) for our fifth graders in the Olá Portuguese-English bilingual immersion program at the King Open School in Cambridge, MA. In April 2026, the students hope to spend 5 days on Pico Island, a fitting capstone and a recognition of the hard work they've put into learning Portuguese over the past 5 years.

<div>They'll receive school credit while exploring volcanic caves, studying with local students during a school visit, whale watching, viewing cultural and historical sites, and enjoying Azorean food, culture, and music with their teachers, chaperones, and each other.
