<div>In just three weeks, our lives changed dramatically. My husband Timothy, who thought he was dealing with kidney stones for over a year, was suddenly diagnosed with a large mass in his bladder after a CT scan. The whirlwind that followed included a nephrostomy bag, surgery, and a biopsy, which revealed non-invasive papillary carcinoma. While the tumor has been surgically removed, we are now facing the uncertainty of further treatment and the reality that this type of cancer often recurs, requiring frequent monitoring and possible ongoing care.

<div>This diagnosis has deeply affected our family. We have a 6 year old son and a 4 year old daughter, and both Timothy and I have had to miss work - him for treatment and recovery, and I have scaled back my hours as a cosmetologist to care for him and our children. The financial strain is real: we are struggling to keep up with insurance costs, copays, household bills, and childcare expenses while our income is reduced.
