A 7th grade student in our community is facing an unimaginable loss. Over Thanksgiving break, this student lost their mother suddenly to a stroke. As an only child, they now find themselves with just their dad, navigating a world that has changed overnight. The grief and uncertainty they are experiencing is something no family should have to face alone, especially during the holiday season.

 The student's father is doing his best to support them, but the financial burden of funeral expenses and daily needs is overwhelming. This unexpected tragedy has added even more stress to their lives. By coming together, we can help ease some of the pressure and show this student and their dad that they are not alone.
