<div>My son Patrick and his wife Amanda just welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Tess McKenzie Riley, on Valentine’s Day, 2/14/26. Their son Charlie, age 10, was so proud to welcome his little sister into the world. The family spent a few days together at the hospital, and by Monday, they were able to return home, surrounded by the support of loved ones.

<div>Less than 12 hours after coming home, the unimaginable happened. <strong>Amanda suffered a seizure and stopped breathing.</strong> Paramedics arrived quickly and performed CPR before transferring her to L&amp;M Hospital, but despite their efforts, Amanda passed away. We were told she had a heart attack that caused the seizure. Our entire family is in disbelief and shock, struggling to process this sudden and heartbreaking loss.
