<div>Hello, my name is Jordan Major (formerly Warlick), the daughter of Phillip and Jeanne Warlick. Following the devastating Eaton Fire in Altadena, CA, which destroyed our family home, many of our friends and family have kindly asked how they can support us during this challenging time. To answer that question, I’ve created this GoFundMe on behalf of my parents.

<div>While my parents are safe, we anticipate a long journey of recovery, reflection, and replenishment. Our home, which held six decades of memories and history, was more than just a house—it was a cornerstone of our family and community. Originally owned by my grandparents, Ted and Clara Warlick, the house on Mar Vista housed each of their five sons (Phil, Herschel, Jeffery, Ted Jr., and Mark) and welcomed countless other family members and friends over the years.

<div>For me and my brother, Phillip Jr., it was our childhood home, filled with love, laughter, and fond memories. Mar Vista wasn’t just a house; it was a gathering spot—a place where good food (Phil’s famous ribs, of course), music, and love were always in abundance. Anyone who came through its doors left with full bellies and fuller hearts.

<div>While the fire has taken our home, it has not taken the soul of Mar Vista. We are determined to create a new and improved vessel for the Warlick legacy to continue thriving. Given the uncertainty of the future and the broader devastation Altadena and Southern California are experiencing, we know any funds collected will be instrumental in helping us recover—not just for our family, but potentially for other community members in need.
