<div><strong>Honoring Craig Scheffler: Support for Kristina, Ethan and Ella</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the sudden passing of a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend, Craig Scheffler.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What began as a brave fight at the Mayo Clinic ended in an unimaginable tragedy. Following multiple procedures and a complex brain surgery to treat an AVM, a sudden complication led to a rupture and cardiac arrest.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Despite the heroic efforts of his medical team, Craig passed away on December 17th, 2025. He leaves behind his wife, Kristina, and their two children, Ethan, and Ella, along with his parents, siblings, and many other family members.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Craig was the rock of the Scheffler household and the primary breadwinner. His absence leaves an immense emotional and financial void that no family should have to face alone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Kristina has been the ultimate pillar of strength, remaining by Craig’s side for days at a time the last few weeks at the Mayo Clinic. With the holidays approaching and an unpaid work break starting immediately, the need for stability is urgent to ensure the family can focus on grieving rather than immediate bills. Kristina will likely not return to work for several more weeks as she helps Ella and Ethan navigate their grief, along with her own.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our goal is to ensure that the Scheffler family is surrounded by the support they need to stay in their home and find a path forward.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>How Your Support Will Help:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are asking for donations to help Kristina and the children navigate this impossible transition. Your generosity will go directly toward:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Immediate Stability:</strong> Covering household bills and mortgage payments during Kristina’s unpaid leave, ensuring the family remains secure in their home.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Medical &amp; Memorial Expenses: </strong>Easing the significant costs of Craig’s specialized ICU care and surgeries at the Mayo Clinic, as well as honoring him with a beautiful service.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The Kids’ Future:</strong> Establishing a foundation for Ethan and Ella’s college funds and long-term dreams.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Daily Life &amp; Normalcy:</strong> Ensuring the kids can continue with the sports, school events, and extracurriculars that Craig so loved to watch them participate in.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Future Safety Net: </strong>Providing a "buffer" for the unexpected—from home repairs and car payments to future medical or dental needs for the children.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Kristina, Ella and Ethan were by Craig's side until the very end, keeping his spirits high with their love.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now, it is our turn to show up for them. Any amount, no matter how small, helps ease the weight on Kristina’s shoulders and honors the man Craig was.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While we appreciate all gestures of sympathy, the family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made here to assist with long-term stability for Ethan and Ella.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>Thank you for your kindness, your prayers, and for standing with the Scheffler family during this heartbreaking time.</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you are unable to donate at this time, please consider clicking the 'Share' button. Sharing this link with your network is just as valuable as a donation.
