<div>We are raising funds to <strong>help</strong> <strong>Keith remain comfortably in home during hospice, cross a few things off his bucket list, and cover his final arrangements.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Keith has faced life’s toughest challenges with grit, stubbornness, and a dark sense of humor. Yet nothing could have prepared him for the double-blow he received leading into his final chapter. Keith suffered a devastating loss when his son, Shawn, passed unexpectedly in March of 2024. Just weeks after returning from the service in Tennessee, he received another disastrous blow; a diagnosis of stage 3 small cell lung cancer. Since then, he has endured a grueling year and a half of chemotherapy and radiation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The side effects from his treatments have taken quite a toll on Keith's physical well-being, which has unfortunately made it impossible for him to continue working his part-time job at Doc's Motorcycle Parts. Although working the sales counter at Doc's began as a way to pick up the slack that his modest Social Security Disability Income left behind, this part-time became more than just a job to Keith. What he misses most is not being able to see the second family he found in his former coworkers and customers each week. Losing this role has also left him without the means to keep up with his monthly bills, let alone prepare for end-of-life care or final arrangements.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Despite multiple rounds of treatments, Keith's illness has advanced past the point of management, and he and his care team have decided that it is time for him to enter into hospice. His biggest wish is to spend his remaining time comfortably at home, surrounded by loved ones, and to leave this world on his own terms—with dignity, laughs, and maybe a few good meals along the way.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This fund has been created to support three things that matter deeply to Keith:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Comfort in hospice </strong>
</div>
<div>Making sure he has the equipment, care, and support he needs to remain at home under his daughter's care for as long as is feasibly possible. This may include paying for durable medical equipment, in-home aids, or any other costs not covered by Medicare.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Bucket list wishes</strong>
</div>
<div>What matters most to Keith now is spending time with his extended family, reconnecting with old friends, making memories with his daughter, and enjoying a few meals worth remembering.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>A meaningful farewell</strong>
</div>
<div>When the day arrives, he wants to go out in style with a motorcycle-hearse led biker funeral! He hopes to be laid to rest in a way that both aligns with his faith and reflects who he was, without worrying about the financial strain it may cause his loved ones.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This campaign aims to celebrate Keith’s life and help him to finish his story on his own terms.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you find yourself in the position to be able to donate towards Keith's final chapter, any contribution is greatly appreciated. If you would like to help in a non-monetary way, sharing this campaign on your feed or just dropping a line of support would mean the world.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Whether through a donation, a share, or simply keeping him in your thoughts and prayers, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being a part of making Keith's final chapter one filled with comfort, dignity, and love.
